Winnersville Classic pairing up 5-1 teams, 8-AAA softball is tough

Wesleyan’s softball team fell to Mt. Pisgah Monday but earned another shot at the Patriots by pounding out 21 runs on 23 hits against Providence to advance to the Region 5-A finals. Victoria DiStasi was 4-4 with 5 RBI in the blowout win while Dacia Jones earned the victory on the mound and collected 4 hits at the plate while driving in 4 runs.
