Brian Jones' top 10 GA prospects headed out!

Big B, Brian Jones is BACK! Brian's top ten list this week is all about the ten best Georgia talents headed out of state for a college education and playing time. 10. Austin Sheppard (North Gwinnett) – 6-5. 315. When a defender is locking horns with Sheppard, they are not going to escape. He will play for Nick Saban in the fall of 210.

9. Garry Peters (Heritage) – 5-11. 173. A quarterback in high school, but has enough speed and awareness to play corner in college. Has committed to Clemson.

8. Connor Shaw (Flowery Branch) – 6-2 195. Has great mobility and can throw on the run better than anybody. He has committed to the Gamecocks of South Carolina.

7. Ed Christian (Lowndes) – 6-5. 280. Can play with a nasty streak and can dive defenders back as good as any lineman in the southeast. He has committed to Florida State.

6. Blake Sims (Gainesville) – 6-0. 170. He is dangerous throwing the football and running with the football. He also a great pocket presence which will take him far in the next level. Has committed to Alabama.

5. Neiron Ball (Jackson) – 6-4. 210. Lined up mostly at DE last year but because of his quickness and size, he will be a great OLB in college and scouts are taking notice. Florida and Georgia are leading a long list of schools.

4. Markeith Ambles (Henry County) – 6-foot-3. 185. Ambles is considered to be the best route runners in the state. He is also known for having great body control. He made the decision to commit to Tennessee.

3. Tai-ler Jones (Gainesville) – 6-feet. 174. Jones in a guy hat can explode off the line and can do a lot of things when he is out in space. Had 1,000 yards receiving yards last year and committed to Stanford in April.

2. JaWuan James (North Gwinnett) – 6-6. 293. James is one of the best tackles in the country as he has great footwork and great body control. He will join Sheppard at Alabama 2010.

1. Mack Brown (MLK) – 5-foot-11. 185. Mack Brown can do it all as a back. He can break tackles, has excellent vision and his footwork is flawless. Will be a huge part of the MLK offense this season as he had 21 rushing touchdowns last year. Will play for Florida next season.
