The OC and The Beautiful Life's Mischa Barton told the press about her recent trip to the loony bin, it all started with her having her wisdom teeth removed and her not being able to take painkillers.
Although pain played a role, Mischa Barton said the doctors did not teach her how to handle pain.
"The doctor told me I was lucky I didn't lose feeling in my lips and face, which would have been horrifying and couldn't act properly," she said.
