Tune in TONIGHT at 9pm on 790TheZone for the official visit!
The Stephenson/ML King game featured several Georgia natives that have pledged to certain schools but who are openly discussing visiting other campuses. Linebacker Raphael Kirby, a long-time Miami pledge, has said that he will take a visit to Georgia and perhaps Vanderbilt. He recently cancelled trips to Florida and South Carolina. Kyle Fleetwood has pledged to South Carolina but he will visit Vanderbilt as well.
If you were a recruit lucky enough to be on the sidelines for the Alabama/LSU game over the weekend, it would probably be pretty hard not to be impressed with the gameday atmosphere in Tuscaloosa last Saturday night. One recruit on hand was Palm Beach Gardens (FL) offensive tackle Avery Young. The No. 10-ranked tackle in the country according to Rivals.com visited and has the Tide in his final five, along with Auburn, where he has already visited, Virginia Tech, Florida and Georgia.
Channing Ward of Aberdeen (MS) has both of the in-state schools in his top five but the strongside defensive end is the No. 6-ranked player at the position and has already visited LSU and Auburn. With the uncertainty of Houston Nutt in Ole Miss and the chance that Dan Mullen may be on the move to another job, Ward could be headed out of state in a hurry.
