Karma is coming back around Beantown....

I think the expressions "what goes around comes around" and "every good thing must come to an end" are about to become the mantra for Boston sports. Beantown has had a pretty good run in recent years with the Pats, the Sox and the Celts, even BC with Matty Ice last year, but I think that all came to an end yesterday.
"He was in a lot of pain. When you hear a scream, you know that." That was Kansas City safety Bernard Pollard about the hit on Patriot golden boy Tom Brady's left leg midway through the first quarter. Brady will miss the season with an ACL injury and the Pats hopes for yet another Super Bowl title will rest on the shoulders of Matt Cassell a career backup since high school. Or New England could go out and sign Chris Simms, who has done SO MUCH since high school himself.
Yep the Pats are screwed, just one game after losing to the Giants in the Super Bowl. They went 18-0, then LOST and now, even though they won yesterday, they lost Brady. A Phyrric victory if you ask me.

But I also think that the Celtics DON'T win it this year as I don't think Kevin McHale will gift wrap them another superstar in a terrible trade. Plus, I think unless they send McHale a ring for his part in last season's team, a plague will be placed on Boston's house!

As for the Red Sox, they traded away ManRam then tried to tell everyone that "OH NO, that was a GREAT MOVE!" yeah trading away one of the most feared hitters EVER in baseball is ALWAYS addition by subtraction. And considering you got Jason Bay back in exchange for a hall of famer PLUS several prospects...wow. Hey, you guys still trailing freaking TAMPA BAY in the standings? Just wondering. Yeah you still have a 900B payroll so you will make the playoffs, but I'm just not sure how you'll do with Josh Beckett going to visit Dr. James Andrews.....

Hey how did BC do against GT this past weekend?

Yep, I think the city of Boston peaked and is headed into the crapper. And it couldn't have happened to a nicer city. I just wonder if everyone jumping OFF the city's bandwagons will cause a huge traffic jam on the Mass Pike as they all leave.

But at least you'll still have Ben Affleck. Ouch, insult to Brady's injury.
