Duh, yahoo! of course they didn't say anything!

As has become tradition, Sportsbyfletch will once again yell at yahoo!.com for a STUPID headline.

If you haven't heard by now, a pilot on a COntinental flight died during the flight and his co-pilots brought the plane down safely at its destination. So what does yahoo! use as its headline?

Pilot's Death Kept Secret

NO SHITE YAHOO!

Yahoo! continued: Lenell died of a suspected heart attack midway through Continental Airlines Flight 61 on Thursday. Two co-pilots took over the controls. Passengers didn't know anything was wrong until they landed and were met by fire trucks, emergency vehicles and dozens of clamoring reporters.

"I was shocked," said Dora Dekeyser, of Houston. "Nobody knew anything."

Did you think they would make an announcement? "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, this is your co-captain here. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, your lead captain just died. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, but we're going to take over here at ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 30,000 feet, and get a nice tail wind and we should ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh have this thing on the ground, with the dead captain in about ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 3 hours.

Come on yahoo! Of course no one knew. That's all the co-pilots need at 30,000 feet while they are trying to fly a plane with a dead captain: everyone freaking out back in first class and coach. I Would have freaked out if I had been aboard and knew.

Good job by the crew keeping that underwraps. The way it should have been.
