Paul Mac kicks a football Field Goal!

Three points (AKA a field goal) from the Sports Deacon himself, friend of SBF, PAUL MAC! Today, Paul takes on Lame Kiffin, Jim Haslett and the Falcons' axing of Emmitt Thomas. Enjoy!

Lane Kiffin leaves Tennessee for USC!Greatest 72 hours post college football evar. Kiffin makes USC an even dirtier institution with clearly no institutional control on any level. They are infinitely more punishable now. This is beautiful. I hope Neiuheisel and UCLA stomp them for the next decade. Tennessee is lucky, now that Mack Brown signed that 5 year deal they could steal Will Muschamp from Texas or get a stop-gap with Duke coach and former UT OC David Cutcliff, what have you. Head Coach at Tennessee is better than waiting on Mack Brown to retire.

I am perplexed as to why a school that Is poised to be severely punished by the NCAA would get one of the dirtiest characters in CFB who just lost to the crosstown rival. Jeff Fisher didn't even consider it?????

The Washington Redskins hire Jim Haslett to be the new defensive coordinator!
As for Haslet, I like Coach Zimmer a lot but I think you'll be very pleased with Haslett as a DC. He's an excellent coordinator and he's plenty capable of being the head coach of the defense and exist with your excellent new head coach.

With Cooley back and the pieces in place that they have the stability Shannahan will bring I think will instantly make you guys playoff competitive. I'm still not quite sold on Campbell as QB but I think Shanny will work well with him if that's what it takes. There are some great players on that team.

Finally, Paul's Falcons fire only ONE coach, HoF player and 8-year assistant head coach and secondary coach Emmitt Thomas!
Yeah the Emmitt Thomas thing... Not all his fault by any stretch the talent they gave him to work with was flawed but I do think they could benefit from new blood at secondary coach. Still it feels kind of like they dumped on Coach Thomas after all he's done for the team.
