Questions from our readers...

Dear Sportsbyfletch,
Is two enough for Roy? Do you think he’s up with coach K and Calhoun and company now at tier 1? Considering the achievements at Kansas I think he’s got to be up at the top level but I’d like to see a couple more championships…just for posterity :D

From Heel Fan 4 Life.

Dear Heel Fan 4 Life,
Two wins in four tries. I'd put him PAST Calhoun but maybe a quarter step below Coach K. I'd put Roy in Tier A, but K is still the tier leader. I was thinking more about it and K has 3 titles (91-over Roy, 92, 01) and three CG losses (90, 94 and 99). Pretty strong now that I think about it.

but you could also say that those 90, 91, 92 teams were the same team...and they were. Then the 94 team was Grant Hill's squad.

My breakdown TODAY after UNC's thrashing of Michigan State last night (pretty sure SBF called that one. But then again, who didn't? Oh, wait....Scott Janovitz of Score Atlanta. Need proof? Visit the Score Atlanta link at the bottom of the page and download last Sunday's show!)

Wooden MASTER OF THE TIERS (even though he MAY have cheated and only had to win 4 games or something...)

Tier A Bobby Knight 3 titles, including undefeated season
Coach K 3 and 3 losses
Roy 2 wins and 2 losses
Calhoun 2 wins

Tier B Izzo, Boeheim, Pitino, Donovan

Tier C, Tubby, Self, Gary Williams,

Tier D John Calipari (win something! LEGALLY!), Rick Barnes (win something...period),

Tier Z Dennis Felton
