What was he mourning?

I just saw this AP brief on yahoo!

Total American cases surged to nearly 100, and Obama said wider school closings might be necessary.

What was he mourning? A US death? Nope, because you just said it was a Mexican toddler!

No I think he was mourning the fact that an illegal with swine flu was able to sneak past the border patrol. That's what I am mourning!
