Don't worry!
I was questioned though about my bold statement that Clemson is ONCE again just a cupcake-monster that falters against the talented teams and will likely finish 3-13 in conference play. Well, FINE I was wrong: they won't finish 3-13.
But I was right about everything else. Yes the Tigers took Duke out at the knees last night, but REALLY? Duke? Was Duke REALLY #3 in the country? They are better than UNC? Pitt? Louisville? NO, NO, NO! The Blue Devils are only #3 because they have Duke written across their chests.
Duke was also beaten by Wake, who then proceeded to go to the "thriller-notsomuch dome" where the Decs were dropped by GT. Then Wake was annihilated by Miami last night.
Congrats Clemson, you got up for a big game on national tv against an overrated team JUST like Wake did a few weeks ago. Honestly though Clemson, do you think Duke was getting up for you? Nope. They know what you are: A cupcake monster that fades down the stretch faster than Big Brown at the Belmont.
But if you want to prove me wrong, go for it, but I don't think you will. MAYBE you go 9-7 in conference play and get bounced Friday of the ACC tourney by NCState or BC. Yeah, it's gonna happen. Then you'll sweat out Selection Sunday before learning you are in, only to lose as a 5-seed to Pacific or some other nobody from the WAC.
