Braves drop crucial home series to MLB's Worst

In the second game, Jair Jurrjens also tried to notch his tenth win of the year, but early trouble put the Braves behind the 8-ball and the offense could not take advantage of two middle inning bases loaded situations as Greg Norton ended a rally with a fly to center and the next inning came to a close with the bases loaded after McCann lined out to rightfield. The Nationals, thanks to former Braves Ryan Langerhans and Willie Harris stole game two 8-2. In the series finale, things looked good early as Mark Teixeira singled home Gregor Blanco with two outs to stake the Braves to a 1-0 lead, but starter Jo-Jo Reyes gave that one plus several more back over the next few innings. Reyes would be tagged for 6 in less than three innings of work and despite Teixeira’s two home runs, the Braves got clobbered 15-6. Reyes’s record dropped to 3-9 on the campaign.

that was from my Score Atlanta Braves piece.
Is the season over? well I hope not, since I cover the Braves for ScoreATL and 790, but things ain't lookin' great right now.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

40 days until football season!
