I am TOTALLY getting a Wii

I know I promised a music blog, but I saw this, and I HAD to write about it. Apparently JV Games has a series of "Frat Party Games" made for the Nintendo Wii coming out and one it Beer Pong! Yeah, beer pong for the Wii. It is a video game...and a drinking game....in one!

However, of course a bunch of parents and political/religious folks got in the way and made the company change it to "Pong Toss" where the players throw the balls into cups of water.

Ummmm first off, the kids playing this game, are STILL going to drink REAL beer in real life to mimic the game. And secondly, who cares if the kids are throwing a VIDEO PING PONG BALL into VIDEO BEER. they aren't drinking the TV SCREEN!

This is crazy. So games like Grand Theft Auto can come out and have people being killed and raped and whatnot, but PLEASE let's change the beer pong into water pong? What? If you don't want underage kids playing, make it rated M like the other games.

Furthermore, I see where some schools are trying to ban beer bong on campus. They are outlawing the sale of excessive pingpong balls to white people (apparently Asians can still buy in bulk. Just kidding. Was that wrong?) and other schools aren't allowing the beer pong tables to be sold either.

Ummmm like that's ever stopped kids from MAKING the tables.

Listen, if kids want to drink, they are going to drink. Outlaw all of this stuff and they will just go back to kegstands or card games. Those can get messy too.

Are the schools going to outlaw playing cards too?

Give it up Georgetown and Tufts. Get a grip and let the kids learn from their mistakes. They will grow out of it. I would actually encourage the kids to play the virtual beer pong opposed to the real version. JUST SAYING.

Pong on Wii!

Roomie, you definitely need to get this game and practice. Your last showing was not exactly up to par. My back still hurts from carrying you.

incredible I had no Idea Beer Pong was so rampantly popular.

Opportunity knocks, solo cups folding tables and ping pong balls to college campuses... CHalla
