Getting off on the Right Foot!

Now this is what I am talking ABOUT!
I know, I know. All the Braves did was win, by one run, against the team with MLB's worst record. But here is the thing. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO WIN, AND THEY DID. They took care of business. They didn't let a team that was SO MUCH WORSE than they were jump up and bite them. They lost NO ground on NL East leading Philly, and they DID gain ground on New York and the Fish.

Brent Lillibridge got a big 2 out 2 strike RBI double. McCann emptied the bases to open the flood gates. The Braves did what they needed to do. Huddy pitched well enough to win and Gonzo aka the COBRA tacked down the save, his 34 straight.

I know I am probably getting too excited over this win, but it was a win. this makes three straight and if the Braves even want to THINK about making a run at the postseason, they need to win almost ALL of these gimmie games.

And last night they did.

Tonight Jair goes to the hill to try and extend his RotY campaign, and he should win. He is nearly untouchable at home. If the Braves swing the bats like they did last night, I think they was win this one. The Braves gave Seattle false hope a few months back when they came to the Ted with the majors' worst record. ATL dropped game one before rallying for games 2 and 3. Well now the Braves don't have to rally. they are ahead. Hopefully they've crushed the Nats' spirit and they can sweep this thang before heading to Miami. That would be nice. Heading to Miami with a chance to overtake the Fish....now we are talking about a division race here.

Let's go get them Bravos!
