Marlins Walk Hard to win over Braves

Sorry for the Dewey Cox reference there, but last night the Braves wasted a better than decent effort from Jair Jurrjens as the bullpen walked two runs in during the 8th inning.
But one could argue the game was already over at that point since, in the top of the 8th, KJ and Yunel Escobar reached and the heart of the lineup due up but Chipper couldn't get the job done.

Oh-MAN, who I had previously defended on this blog then started the walk party after coming in for Ring I believe, and this was done with two outs! A double on a questionable fair/foul call put a runner on second, then Bobby ordered the intentional base on balls. A single up the middle loaded the bases and the Braves then got a pop fly out. And then a walk. then another walk, after the count was 0-2.
I am just NOT a fan of the intentional pass because it ended up biting them. Oh well.

In the 9th, the bats were AGAIN cold (opposite from recent games when they seemed to wake up when it was too late) and Frenchy was utterly confused up there, swinging at stuff he shouldn't have and not at stuff he should. Big Tex just WATCHED strike three plop in the heart of the plate, then Mac just hit a lazy fly to end the game.

Thank goodness Huddy is going tonight to bust this losing streak.
He seems to be our stopper this year, the ace, and good thing because this ship has sprung a leak and he and Smoltzie seem to be the only ones capable of plugging it.
We thought Glavine would be able to step in, AND HE MIGHT, but he must get over his leg injury. Jair is throwing well, but GIVE HIM SOME SUPPORT. First in Colorado, now here.
And Hampton, could you PLEASE give us SOMETHING this season? It is my hope that you CAN give the Braves something this season, then IF YOU CAN come back at a BARGAIN BASEMENT PRICE (like the league minimum maybe) and be the 5th starter again next season. BUT IF YOU ARE REALLY DONE, then just retire and don't take some other team's money next season. That's all I ask
