40 points and he's PROUD of his team?

Yep, last night after Dennis the Menace Felton's UGA men's basketball team lost out on Derrick Favors AND then laid an egg in a 50-40 loss at Vandy, Felton dropped one of his stupid remarks of his career.

"I’m really proud of the way we defended and rebounded."

YOU LOST 50-40! INSTEAD OF SAYING HOW PROUD YOU ARE, HOW ABOUT YOU ADDRESS THE FACT THAT YOU SCORED !ONLY! 40 POINTS! One per minute! THAT'S IT!

Why don't you say how disappointed you were in your team's effort. Screw the silver lining crap. Your team sucked out there! ADDRESS THAT! 40 points! That's it?

And you are proud of your team's efforts. Great.

I feel sorry for Iowa State or Providence College or one of the other lesser programs in a major conference. I feel that Felton is going to get fired after this season, then go back to the mid-major scene, like a Western Carolina. He will then do really well, WHY? Because Felton IS a mid-major coach. After about three years with likely two tourney appearances an Iowa State or Providence will look at Felton and say, "Well we was really good at WKU and at Western Carolina/whatever mid-major he goes to next. He was just in a bad situation at UGA (or he MADE a "bad" one which was readi-made for a tourney run in his first year!). He would do well here at Iowa State!" Then he will get the job, SUCK AGAIN, set the school back 4 years and get fired again, before returning for GOOD to a mid-major.

That's just want he is: A mid-major coach STEALING money and killing the UGA men's basketball program.

But hey, at least he's proud of his team's 40 point effort!
