The Cobra STRIKES AGAIN!

Credit Kelly Johnson (and his SWEET SWING) with this win today. KJ's double drove two in today to knot the game at two, then he added a little insurance later in the game to raise his total to 3 RBI on the day as the Bravos win 4-2.
Jorge Campillo went 7 strong in an effort that the team needed, only allowing 2 runs and holding up over the long haul. This team was a little stripped because of injuries so they needed a good effort and to get out quickly, which Campillo allowed them to do.

Finally, the Cobra aka Mike Gonzalez impressed as he notched his second save and 32 straight in 32 chances. He has pitched in three games today and the Braves won all three. When he comes in, it is LIGHTS out time. I love it.
That said, I think they should trade while the value is high (if they have decided to throw in the towel on the season, and with Philly looking to add CCS from the Indians in Pat Gillick's last year, maybe they should) and build for 2010.

But I hope the Braves CAN do something this year. If Philly doesn't run away with the division, it will push Atlanta's dealings back and they might decide to make a run. If it is possible to rebuild while reloading, that would be ideal (and it IS possible, see Beane, Billy for examples).

Well the Braves take ONE of three from the Brew Crew and maybe this will load gramma MO on the plane for the trip North o' the Border, eh!

And GO DAWGS. BACKS AGAINST THE WALL 5-0! Make it 6-0!
and bring home that trophy!

Finally, I want it here first, Novak CHOKE-o-vic! at Wimbledon!
