I haven't done a music blog in a while, so I thought I'd just throw a bunch of thoughts against the Blogwall and see if any of it sticks. (on a side note, I have NEVER done this with pasta. I don't know why you'd waste pasta like that?)
That song, "I Kissed a girl..And I liked it." catchy, good beat, and a chick is singing it. That is hot. I have never seen this singer, but I am SURE she is attractive (she sounds hot) and I am sure the music video on FNMTV would be fantastic. Especially if Alicia Silverstone is involved. Her career isn't doing much. And neither is Aerosmith's for that matter. They need to have each other's people get in contact. Remember Cryin' Amazin' and Crazy? She was at her peak. Then Clueless put her at a new level. Too bad she decided to take a vacation to Antarctica right after that.
The American Boy song by Estelle and Kayne West. Did Estelle have some discriminating photos of KW to FORCE him to do that song? It sounds like a 6 year old wrote it. I hope KW used a Forever stamp to mail that one in. Although he might have just used an old 41-cent stamp and gone to the Sandy Springs Post Office and used his credit card to buy 5 one-cent stamps. Yeah, that's right. The SSPO ONLY takes credit cards in their stamp machines. So my debit card has a 5-cent charge on it when I bought five one-centers. Nice.
Hey Jonas Brothers...did you get a good look at Hanson? THAT'S YOUR FUTURE. You think people are making a fuss over you now? Hit puberty. The support will dry up. You will be playing malls and cruiseships in NO TIME!
Finally, why did The Verve NEVER have a followup hit to Bittersweet Symphony? What a great song that was. Classic. And they could NEVER follow it up? Maybe people got them confused with Vervepipe. But even THEY only had that one song Freshman. I guess the word Verve was a bit of a curse to your band. Like the Tiki statue from The Brady Bunch Hawaii arc.
