thoughts on the series win over the mariners!

The brand new Chick-fil-A tomahawk-chopping mechanical cow perched high in left field tried to bring the home team some luck on Saturday as Jair Jurrjens took to the mound. The Mariners took an early 3-1 lead and the Braves were forced to play catchup with just six outs remaining. However, Brian McCann came to the plate with the bases loaded and a chance to win it in the ninth and he blooped a broken-bat single over the second baseman’s head for the walk-off hit. Greg Norton scored the winning run against his former team. In Sunday’s rubber match, the Braves scored early and often, staking Tim Hudson to an 8-0 lead. Teixeira did his part with three home runs, and despite Jones missing the game with an injury, the Braves took the game 8-3.

that was from my Score Atlanta beat. sorry, i went tubing yesterday (and got sunburned) so I was a little behind. My bad.

as for tonight, so far the Dawgs and Dogs are tied at 1 in the bottom of the third and the Brew Crew is ahead thanks in large part to the Cheater Mike Cameron and a performance-enhanced dong
