Does this mean Cox reads my blogs?

Just one day after not lifting Tom Glavine with the Braves leading with two outs in the fourth and the game in the balance, Cox was faced with the same situation today, and Bobby went to the pen. Exit Jurrjens and enter Jeff Bennett and the side was retired and the Braves would go on to win 7-3, finishing the homestand 8-3 and beating Brandon Webb in the process. Webb is arguably the NL's best pitcher (though I would argue for MY BOY Tim Hudson) and the Braves got to him in the first and in the third and knocked him out in the fifth.
Nice work guys.
Tex had a pair of two-run hits (a double in the first and a single in the third) and I was worried about the Braves possibly stranding two runners on at first and third when Webb misplayed a Jurrjens' bunt in either the second or the third (sorry, can't recall) but a walk to Chipper gave lil tex the bases juiced and he delivered.

Good work there lil tex. way to finish the homestand right, and hopefully you can carry the MO into Milwaukee and help the team improve on its 3.78 runs per game average on the road.

Finally, I just like that the Braves were playing to WIN this game, not worrying about if the starter got his stats. I wish Bobby would have done this yesterday too, but he DID do it today, and I say WORRY about the TEAM getting the W, not whether or not the starter gets it. Would it be nice if the starting pitcher could get you 5IPs? yes it would, but I would like to think that all the starters would rather the team get the win, make the postseason and make a run at that ring.

Good work today guys and I said yesterday the team NEEDED to win today to call this a successful homestand. Call it a success. Especially the way they went AT Webb. Good job guys. Lets take 4 of 6 on this road trip. Huddy should get you one tomorrow and if either Jo-Jo or Jorge can pick one up, I like either Jurrjens/Glavine/Huddy should get you another!
