The offense is the reason for the teardrops on my guitar

Sorry, I heard that Taylor Swift song on the way to work and thought I'd throw it in here.
Ummmm could the equipment manager please UNPACK the bats from the travel bags? Apparently the Braves have been unable to find them the last 13 innings. PLEASE?!?!?!
Jo-Jo Reyes gives you 7 BIG innings last night, allowing only one run, and you can't scratch off a SINGLE run of JEFF SUPPAN? COME ON! No runs at all? Then Solomon Torres factors into the final standings again? First a win Tuesday, now a save Wednesday? The guy is 103 years old.
You are HELPING the Brew Crew turn its season around. GOSH!

Good job by Jo-Jo, good job by the bullpen, but the offense? JUST. NOT. THERE.
Tex? Chipper? Yunel? McCann? Anyone home? Anyone feeling like driving in a run? You touch up Brandon Webb, but you can't take down Jeff Suppan?
Bobby Cox is doing his best Tommy Bowden impression here, getting up for FSU, but falling to Duke. CRAP! Come on Bravos.
Now for you to go 4 of 6 on the roadtrip, you've got to win tonight (Jorge Campillo and his blisters take to the mound for his THIRD start. And we are counting on this guy. a little scared here) and then sweep the Reds. Not saying that can't happen, but in that bandbox of a ballpark it is ALWAYS a crapshoot, especially when the bats are missing things.

Against Webb you proved you could, so we know the Offense can. It just isn't right now.

WAKE UP BATS!
